Liquor-consumption by persons under 21 — Juan Luis Diaz, 18, of Fairmont; fined $185.

Rodrick Robert Olson, 34, of Trimont, was convicted of assault-5th degree-fear of bodily harm or death; fined $285. Sentenced to jail 90 days, 86 days for 1 year, credit for time served; 4 days, adult supervised probation, 1 year, complete a domestic violence assessment, and comply with all recommendations, complete comprehensive assessment, and follow all recommendations, if one is already completed, provide a copy of it to probation agent, no alcohol/controlled substance use, with the exception of prescribed medications, no possession of alcohol or drugs, with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, remain law-abiding, follow all State and Federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives if prohibited by law, obtain permission from agent before leaving the State, defendant may go to Sioux Falls, SD, July 28-30th. A felony charge of domestic assault-by strangulation was dismissed.
