Passing on right when prohibited — John R. Hanson, 61, of Cologne, Minn.; fined $135.

Jacob S. Lawson, 22, of Maryville, Tenn. was convicted of operate motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol; fined $710, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, complete and pay for a comprehensive assessment within 60 days of sentencing and follow all recommendations in a timely manner, must sign all releases for assessor to obtain collateral information from assigned probation agent(s), assigned social worker(s) if any, mental health treatment provider(s) if any, relevant family/household members and recent treatment providers as part of their assessment, must successfully complete the level of treatment and aftercare recommended rather than choosing a lesser level of care, attend and complete MADD impact panel and pay for within six months of sentencing and provide proof to probation agent, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing as directed by law enforcement or their designee at any time to verify compliance with the abstinence requirement, no same or similar, sign releases of information as directed. Also convicted of speeding; fined $130. Additional charges of driving while impaired-alcohol concentration 0.08 within two hours, and fourth-degree driving while impaired, were both dismissed.

Terry D. Thompson, 58, of Ceylon received a stay of adjudication on a charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $685, sentenced to jail two days, credit for time served two days, concurrent with other case, one year supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, complete and pay for a comprehensive assessment within 60 days of sentencing and follow all recommendations in a timely manner, must sign all releases for assessor to obtain collateral information from assigned probation agent(s), assigned social worker(s) if any, mental health treatment provider(s) if any, relevant family/household members and recent treatment providers as part of their assessment, must successfully complete the level of treatment and aftercare recommended rather than choosing a lesser level of care, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing as directed by law enforcement or their designee at any time to verify compliance with the abstinence requirement, complete diagnostic assessment if recommended by probation, cognitive skill training if recommended by probation, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. Additional charges of driving after revocation, and possession of drug paraphernalia-use or possession prohibited, were both dismissed.

Roberto Pena, 59, of Welcome was convicted of disorderly conduct-offensive/abusive/boisterous/noisy/obscene; fined $185, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, no contact with co-defendants, no same or similar. An additional felony charge of terroristic threats-reckless disregard risk was dismissed.

Rebecca L. Devoe, 43, of Fairmont was convicted of reckless driving-drives consciously disregarding a substantial or unjustifiable risk; fined $235, sentenced to jail three days, credit for time served three days.

Speeding — Benjamin H. Anderson, 17, of Frost; fined $225.

Judith K. Sethre, 75, of Byron; fined $285.

Driving after revocation — Juan Gonzalez Ramirez, 29, of Blue Earth; fined $285.

Casey L. Soost, 45, of Alden was convicted of speeding; fined $135. Also convicted of hands free law-engage in cellular phone or video call; fined $50.
