Driving after cancellation — Erick J. Rosales Garcia, 21, of Fairmont; fined $285.
Dillyn R. Goodell, 28, of Albert Lea received a statutory stay of adjudication on a charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $660, sentenced to jail six days, credit for time served six days, one year supervised probation, sentence to service 8 hours for indeterminate, contact probation officer as directed, complete and pay for comprehensive assessment within 60 days of sentencing and follow all recommendations in a timely manner, must sign all releases for assessor to obtain collateral information from assigned probation agent(s), assigned social worker(s) if any, mental health treatment provider(s) if any, relevant family/household members and recent treatment providers as part of their assessment, must successfully complete the level of treatment and aftercare recommended rather than choosing a lesser level of care, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, take medications in the prescribed dosage and frequency, meet with licensed professional to determine the usefulness and availability of prescription medications moving forward, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed.
Shane R. Guptill, 30, of Elmore was convicted of unsafe tires-prohibitions; fined $210. Additional charge of driver fails to stop for stop sign was dismissed.
Luis G. Lopez, 22, of Sioux Falls, S.D. was convicted of uninsured vehicle-owner violation; fined $200. Also convicted of driving without a valid drivers license for vehicle class or type; fined $185.
Gregory A. Link, 35, of Maxwell, Iowa had a charge of speeding continued for dismissal; fined $415, six months unsupervised monitoring without conviction, six months no same or similar.
