Failure of driver to carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle — Phalen C. Johnson, 20, of Trimont; fined $285.

Irma A. Flores, 33, of Austin was convicted of operate motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol; fined $710, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 88 days for one year, credit for time served two days, one year unsupervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, complete and pay for comprehensive assessment within 60 days of sentencing and follow all recommendations timely, must sign all releases for assessor to obtain collateral information from assigned probation agent(s), assigned social worker(s) if any, mental health treatment provider(s) if any, relevant family/household members and recent treatment providers as part of their assessment, must successfully complete the level of treatment and aftercare recommended rather than choosing a lesser level of care, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, attend MADD impact panel, remain law-abiding.

Jacob R. McDonald, 30, of Ceylon was convicted of driving after cancellation-inimical to public safety; fined $485, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 335 days for two years, two years unsupervised probation, serve 30 days on electronic home monitoring at defendant’s own expense and must be in place by March 20, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, don’t drive without a valid drivers license, no same or similar.

Terry J. Schulz, was convicted on a felony charge of second-degree criminal sex conduct-victim under 13 and actor 36 and older; fined $75, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 59 months, give a DNA sample when directed. Also convicted on a separate felony charge of second-degree criminal sex conduct-victim under 13 and actor 36 and older; commit to Commissioner of Corrections 45 months, concurrent with other case, give a DNA sample when directed. Additional felony charge of first-degree criminal sex conduct-penetration or contact with person under 13 and actor 36 and older was dismissed.

Chandler S. Steffensmeier-Harris, 25, of Truman was convicted of unsafe equipment-unlawful to drive any vehicle which is in an unsafe condition; fined $185. Also convicted of window tint violation-less than 50 percent light transmittance; fined $50. Also convicted of vehicle window restrictions-windshield tinted or glazed; fined $50.
