Jason L. Herold, 44, of Elmore was convicted of driving after revocation; fined $285. Also convicted of failure of driver to carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle; fined $200.
Mark T. Bartness, 55, of Manchester had a felony charge of theft by swindle continued for dismissal; fined $1,477.88, due within 90 days, restitution $1,402.88, one year unsupervised monitoring without conviction, pay restitution, one year no same or similar. Also had another separate felony charge of theft by swindle continued for dismissal; fined $765.15, restitution $690.15, one year unsupervised monitoring without conviction, pay restitution, one year no same or similar.
Kayleen B. Campbell-sanchez, 25, of Kiester received a stay of imposition pursuant to Minnesota statutes on a felony charge of theft-take or drive motor vehicle without owner consent; fined $910, sentenced to jail 55 days, credit for time served 55 days, three years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, follow all recommendations of the comprehensive assessment completed in November 2022, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, complete cognitive skill training as assigned by agent, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, give a DNA sample when directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, don’t register to vote or vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored.
Marsha L. Martens, 55, of Elmore had a charge of harassment-violate restraining order within 10 years of previous domestic violence conviction continued for dismissal; fined $75, one year unsupervised monitoring without conviction, complete a diagnostic, comprehensive or mental health assessment within 90 days, must provide copy of assessment to County Attorney’s office, one year no same or similar.
Andrew B. Troe, 26, of Thompson, Iowa received an amended court decision on a charge of fourth-degree driving while impaired; fined $485, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, complete and pay for a comprehensive assessment within 60 days of sentencing and follow all recommendations, must sign all releases for assessor to obtain collateral information from assigned probation agent(s), assigned social worker(s) if any, mental health treatment provider(s) if any, relevant family/household members and recent treatment providers as part of their assessment, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, attend MADD impact panel, restitution to remain open for 30 days, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed.
