Michael L. Bussinger, 72, of Blue Earth was convicted of fourth-degree driving while impaired; fined $610, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, complete chemical assessment, follow all recommendations of evaluation, no mood-altering chemicals, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, attend MADD impact panel, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed. Additional charge of third-degree driving while impaired-one aggravating factor was dismissed.

Danika J. Freeman, 31, of Fairmont received a stay of imposition pursuant to Minnesota statutes on a felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $660, sentenced to jail 62 days, credit for time served 62 days, three years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, complete a mental health diagnostic assessment and follow all recommendations for care and aftercare, complete chemical assessment and follow all recommendations for care and aftercare, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, ICOTS rules apply if defendant wants to live out of state, provide list of prescribed medications to probation officer, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, don’t register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored. An additional felony charge of receiving stolen property, and a misdemeanor charge of identity theft-transfer/use/possess identity of other person, were both dismissed.

Pedro Trejo Godina, 42, of Frost was convicted of harassment-knows and violates temporary or restraining order; fined $460, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 83 days for one year, credit for time served seven days, one year supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, no contact with victim(s), follow the Harassment Restraining Order (HRO), follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives.

April M. Valliant, 37, of Mapleton was convicted on a felony charge of second-degree controlled substance sale-10 grams or more-other than heroin in a 90-day period; fined $660, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 92 months, give a DNA sample when directed. Additional charge of third-degree driving while impaired-one aggravating factor was dismissed.
