Jose L. Castano, 64, of Fairmont was convicted of domestic assault-subsequent violation; fined $460, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 325 days for two years, credit for time served 40 days, two years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, complete chemical assessment, follow recommendations of evaluation, no contact with victim(s), no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, meet with therapist once a month by participating in counseling including domestic violence prevention and cognitive skills, Domestic no Contact (DANCO), no assaultive or threatening behavior, no same or similar, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, provide list of prescribed medications to probation officer, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives if prohibited by law. An additional felony charge of domestic assault by strangulation was dismissed.

Allen J. Childs, 35, of Blue Earth was convicted of driving while impaired-alcohol concentration 0.0-8 within two hours; fined $810, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 335 days for two years, serve the remaining 28 days on EHM with alco-sensor, two years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, attend MADD impact panel, complete chemical assessment and follow all recommendations, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, no same or similar, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives if prohibited by law. Additional charges of operate motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, and speeding, were both dismissed.

Hector M. Pedraza Jr., 38, of St. Cloud was convicted on a felony charge of second-degree controlled substance possession-25 grams or more; fined $685, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 98 months, give a DNA sample when directed. Additional felony charges of first-degree controlled substance possession-50 grams or more, and crime of violence-firearm violation, were both dismissed.

Janet E. Presler, 56, of Fairmont was convicted of driving after revocation; fined $285, sentenced to jail 30 days, stayed 30 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, no same or similar.

Dillon J. Dougherty, 26, of Fairmont was convicted of theft-take/use/transfer movable property without consent; fined $229.16, restitution $44.16, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 88 days for one year, credit for time served two days, one year unsupervised probation, pay restitution, don’t enter Walmart in Fairmont, no same or similar.
