Possess over 1.4 grams of marijuana in a motor vehicle — Heidi M. Gross, 48, of Mt. Morris, Mich.; fined $135.

Driving without a valid license for vehicle class or type — Alfonso G. Ramirez Ramirez, 26, of Estherville, Iowa; fined $185.

John G. Watson, 29, of Mankato was convicted on a felony charge of third-degree assault-substantial bodily harm; fined $1,185, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 15 months, stayed five years, sentenced to jail 66 days, credit for time served 66 days, five years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, complete a cognitive skills course as directed by agent, participate in mental health programming as directed by agent, no direct or indirect contact with victim(s), restitution reserved if filed within 30 days, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, don’t register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored.

Jamie L. Hatfield, 34, of Lewisville was convicted of driving after revocation; sentenced to jail four days, credit for time served four days. Additional charges of operate vehicle with expired registration, and failure of driver to carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle, were both dismissed.

Michael J. Keech, 34, of Truman was convicted of hunting-transport illegal firearm (unloaded/uncased) in motor vehicle in prohibited area; fined $285, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, remain law-abiding, no same or similar. Also convicted of open bottle law-possession; fined $100.

An additional felony charge of fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle, and a misdemeanor charge of hunting-transport illegal firearm (unloaded/uncased) in motor vehicle in prohibited area, were both dismissed.

Chad M. Mart, 21, of Fairmont was convicted on two separate charges of driving after revocation; fined $285 for the first charge and $200 for the second. Also convicted of possess over 1.4 grams of marijuana in a motor vehicle; fined $235. Also convicted of uninsured vehicle-driver violation; fined $200. Also convicted of failure of driver to carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle, were all dismissed.

Anthony J. Peterson, 25, of Ceylon was convicted of speeding; fined $125. Also convicted of window tint violation-less than 50 percent light transmittance; fined $50.

Gildardo Gonzalez Jr., 30, of Blue Earth was convicted of driving after revocation; fined $285, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, no same or similar. Additional charge of failure of driver to carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle was dismissed.
