Dallas W. Barsiou, 27, of Blue Earth was convicted of second-degree DWI-operate motor vehicle under influence of alcohol; fined $810. Sentenced to jail 365 days, stay 335 days for two years credit for time served: four days, served as : home detention/electronic monitoring (if eligible), work release (if eligible), defendant may serve the remaining jail sentence on EHM with work release, if eligible. Additional charges of second-degree DWI-operate motor vehicle-alcohol concentration 0.08 within two hours, possess over 1.4 grams marijuana in motor vehicle, possess/sale amount small amount of marijuana-no remuneration, possession of drug paraphernalia-use possession prohibited were all dismissed.

Arturo Cordova Jr., 25, of Fairmont was convicted of felony domestic assault; fined $1,160. Commit to Commissioner of Corrections-Adult(MN Correctional Facility-St. Cloud, 12 months 1 day, stay for 5 yr); probation-adult(supervised probation, 5 yr); local confinement(60 days, credit for time served: 3 days); serve as: work release(if eligible); sentenced to serve(if eligible); condition-adult-follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation officer as directed, tell probation officer within 72 hours if have contact with law enforcement, tell probation officer within 72 hours if are charged with any new crime, tell probation officer within 72 hours if change your address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with the search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, and things as directed by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, give a DNA sample when directed, do not use or possess firearms, ammunition or explosives, do not register to vote or vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, complete Domestic Abuse Batterer’s Intervention Program, complete a Domestic Abuse Program as directed by supervising agent, no violations of an Order for Protection, follow all current and/or future Order for Protection and/or Domestic No Contact Orders, No alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no possession of alcohol or drugs with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, cognitive skill training, as directed by supervising agent, no contact with victim(s), either direct or indirect until the Domestic Abuse Program is completed. Additional charges of felony domestic assault and felony domestic assault-by strangulation were both dismissed.

Commit to Commissioner of Corrections – Adult(MN Correctional Facility – Shakopee, 1 Yr 1 Days, Stay for 5 yr). Probation – Adult(Supervised probation, 5 yr). Local Confinement(9 days, Credit for time served: 9 days). Condition – Adult(Follow all State and Federal criminal laws. Contact probation officer within 72 hours if have, contact with law enforcement. Tell probation officer within 72 hours if are, charged with any new crime, Tell probation officer within 72 hours if change, address, employment, or telephone number. Cooperate with the search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, and things as directed by probation officer. Sign releases of information as directed. Give a DNA sample when directed, Don not use or possess firearms, ammunition or explosives. Do not register to vote or vote until discharged from, probation and civil rights are fully restored. Conditions, other, the court will leave it up to probation’s discretion as to regards of being employed at an establishment with a bar. Additional charges of obstruct legal process-interfere w/peace officer and drugs-possession of drug paraphernalia – use or possession prohibited were both dismissed.
