Failure to wear seat belt while in a motor vehicle — Havanna J. Sommerland, 24, of Dunnell; fined $110.

Alfred R. Sims, 20, of Forest Hill, Texas received a stay of adjudication on a felony charge of threats of violence; fined $750, sentenced to jail five days, credit for time served five days, three years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, complete chemical assessment within 45 days of sentencing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, cooperate in the Interstate Compact process for transfer of supervision to Texas, sign and return all forms to agent promptly as directed, no direct or indirect contact with victim(s), make no threats toward any person, no same or similar, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives.

Scott A. Howeth, 26, of Truman was convicted of driving while impaired-alcohol concentration 0.08 within two hours; fined $910, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 360 days for two years, credit for time served five days, two years supervised probation, complete chemical assessment and follow recommendations of evaluation, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, attend MADD impact panel, contact probation officer as directed, remain law-abiding, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign all releases of information, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives if prohibited by law. Additional charge of operate motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol driving was dismissed.

Matthew L. Bauman, 27, of Fairmont was convicted of domestic assault-intentionally attempts to inflict bodily harm on another; fined $460, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 60 days for one year, credit for time served two days, serve 28 days on home detention/electronic monitoring before 6/25/21, continue to attend AA/NA meetings on a weekly basis and provide verification to agent, one year supervised probation, continue in individual therapy with Brian Koranda, Mayo Clinic and follow recommendations until successfully discharged, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, no contact with victim(s) except with what is outlined and ordered in the current active Order for Protection, contact probation officer as directed, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign all releases of information, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives if prohibited by law.

Beth A. Celander, 40, of Granada was convicted of speeding; fined $135. Also convicted of failure to wear seat belt while in a motor vehicle; fined $25.
