Alan G. Fadness, 54, of Truman received a stay of adjudication on a charge of domestic assault-intentionally attempts to inflict bodily harm on another; fined $300, one year supervised probation, complete a psychological diagnostic evaluation and follow all recommendations of evaluation, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, no violations for an Order for Protection (OFP), no same or similar, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, contact probation officer as directed within 24 hours from sentencing hearing, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives during the probation term. Additional charge of fifth-degree assault-attempt or inflict bodily harm was dismissed.
