Mason D. Mackey, 20, of Wells received a statutory stay of adjudication on a felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $1,085, sentenced to jail 30 days, serve 30 days on electronic home monitoring at own expense if eligible, five years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, complete chemical assessment and follow all recommendations of evaluation, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. One additional felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana, and three misdemeanor charges of underage alcohol consumption, underage possession of alcohol, and possess/sale small amount of marijuana-no remuneration, were all dismissed.
Brian C. Miller, 43, of Mesa, Ariz. was convicted on a felony charge of threats of violence; fined $85, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 366 days, stayed five years, sentenced to jail 159 days, credit for time served 159 days, five years supervised probation, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, don’t return to Minnesota without prior notification of your return, domestic abuse evaluation and follow all recommendations, no direct or indirect contact with victim(s) including over social media, no violations of any future Orders for Protection or Harassment Restraining Orders, participate in the interstate compact process for transfer of supervision to Arizona, contact your probation officer as directed, follow any protection orders for children that are in place with visitations to be addressed in a family case, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, don’t register to vote or vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored. Additional charges of domestic assault-intentionally attempts to inflict bodily harm, and interrupt/impede/interfere/disrupt 911 emergency telephone call, were both dismissed.
Broderick R. Cook, 38, of Sherburn was convicted of issue dishonored check-offense; fined $285, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, no same or similar.
Rodney L. Johnson, 28, of St. Paul was convicted of driving after revocation; fined $285. Also convicted of failure to drive with due care; fined $40.
