Jonathan R. Hill, 35, of Fairmont received a statutory stay of adjudication on a felony charge of third-degree controlled substance possession-10 grams or more of a narcotic other than heroin; fined $1,575, sentenced to jail 60 days, credit for time served 20 days, next increment of 30 days is reserved for one year until a retire hearing is done, five years supervised probation, complete a chemical dependency assessment within 30 days of sentencing and follow all recommendations for care and aftercare, complete a mental health diagnostic assessment within 60 days of sentencing and follow all recommendations for care and aftercare, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, complete a cognitive program such as “Thinking for a Change” as directed by supervising agent, provide list of prescribed medications to probation officer, may work STS for credit towards fines, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. Additional charges of second-degree controlled substance sales-10 grams or more of a narcotic other than heroin within a 90-day period, and conspiracy to commit second-degree controlled substance violation, were both dismissed.

Jaymii L. Cook, 28, of Granada received a stay of imposition pursuant to Minnesota statutes on a felony charge of possession of stolen property; sentenced to jail 57 days, credit for time served 57 days, five years supervised probation, sentence to service 10 days for indeterminate, County has 30 days to file certificate of restitution, complete a mental health diagnostic assessment and follow all recommendations, complete a Rule 25 chemical assessment within 30 days follow recommendations of evaluation, call Faribault/Martin County Human Services within 5 days to schedule a chemical dependency assessment and follow all recommendations, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, cognitive skill training as directed by agent, obtain employment, maintain employment, follow all conditions as set forth in the probation agreement, engage in therapy as recommended in mental health evaluation by New Directions Healing Center, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, don’t register to vote or vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored. Additional charge of identity theft-transfer/possess/use identity of another person was dismissed.

Jacob M. Ishmael Worlds, 23, of Truman was convicted of driver turning left fails to yield right-of-way to oncoming traffic; fined $135. Additional charge of failure of driver to carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle was dismissed.

Stephanie Aponte, 18, of Philadelphia, Pa. received a stay of adjudication on a charge of theft-take/use/transfer movable property without consent; fined $100, one year unsupervised monitoring without conviction, pay restitution, don’t enter victim’s residence, don’t enter Fairmont Kwik Trip, no same or similar.
