Speeding — Michael G. Andrews, 26, of Pleasant View, Tenn.; Christopher T. Kelly, 21, of Phoenix, Ariz.; Gary A. Morris, 29, of Pierre, S.D.; Stephanie Rivas, 25, of Blue Earth; each fined $125.

Justin R. Servaty, 36, of Rush City; Nicholas A. Cheesman, 27, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; each fined $145.

Open bottle law-possession — Gerardo Alonzo Jr., 30, of Blue Earth; fined $185.

Jessica L. Sweet, 26, of Blue Earth was convicted of second-degree driving while impaired-two or more aggravating factors; fined $865, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 275 days for two years, will serve two separate 10 day terms in jail and may serve balance of 60 days on EHM at defendant’s expense, Huber if qualified, may do STS for fines, two years supervised probation, contact probation agent as directed, no mood-altering chemicals, random testing, follow all recommendations of Drive with Care Level 2 and subsequent recommendations of the chemical dependency assessment completed 2/23/21, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives if prohibited by law.

DISTRICT COURT

Roberto J. Esqueda, 27, of Granada was convicted of operate vehicle with expired registration; fined $115. Additional charge of driver who’s not owner must later produce proof of insurance if required, was dismissed.

Shantel K. Penkaty, 27, of International Falls was convicted on two separate charges of driving after suspension; fined $285.

Divante J. Blackwell, 28, of Northrop was convicted of failure of driver to carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle; fined $385, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 365 days for two years, two years unsupervised probation, no same or similar. Additional charge of failure to display vehicle registration was dismissed.

Shaun M. Brown, 24, of Lakefield was convicted of driving after revocation; fined $285. Additional charges of 21-day temporary vehicle permit violation, and failure to stop for stop signs or stop lines at entrance to thru highway, were both dismissed.
