Heather M. Miller, 33, of Fairmont was convicted on a felony charge of first-degree burglary of an occupied dwelling with non-accomplice present; fined $1,085, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 33 months, stayed five years, sentenced to jail 90 days, credit for time served 53 days, five years supervised probation, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, complete domestic abuse batterer’s intervention program and pay for class out-of-pocket, no direct or indirect contact with the victim including social media, have no threats of violence or intimidation towards anyone, follow all current and/or future Orders for Protection and/or Domestic No Contact orders, participate in a mental health diagnostic and follow all recommendations for care and aftercare, complete a Rule 25 chemical assessment and follow all recommendations for care, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, restitution reserved for 30 days, obtain employment and work with CareerForce as directed by agent, maintain employment, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, give DNA sample when directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, don’t register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored. Three additional felony charges of first-degree burglary-assault person in building or on property, domestic abuse-violates two or more Orders of Protection within 10 years of previous conviction, and threats of violence, and misdemeanor charges of fifth-degree assault, and fourth-degree damage to property-intentional damage-other circumstances, were all dismissed.

Jayden L. Thomas Sathoff, 19, of Fairmont received a statutory stay of adjudication on a felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $700, sentenced to jail two days, credit for time served two days, five years supervised probation, complete chemical assessment, follow all recommendations of evaluation, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, remain law-abiding, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. Additional charges of possession/sale of small amount of marijuana-no remuneration, and possession of drug paraphernalia-use prohibited, were both dismissed.

Katie Jo Armitage, 29, of Fairmont was convicted of fourth-degree operate a motor vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance; fined $610, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, complete chemical assessment, follow all recommendations of evaluation, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, attend MADD impact panel, no same or similar. Additional charges of fourth-degree driving while impaired-combination of any two alcohol/controlled substances, fourth-degree driving while impaired-alcohol concentration 0.08 within two hours, fourth-degree operate motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, and endangering a child-situation could cause harm or death, were all dismissed.

Speeding — Erik A. Vam Beuzekom, 53, of Chimacum, Wash.; fined $125.

Anthony J. Woodraska, 32, of Moose Lake; fined $135.

Underage alcohol consumption — Challen A. Bena-Hernandez, 20, of Rochester, Minn.; fined $185.

David A. Olson, 41, of Blue Earth was convicted of driving after cancellation-inimical to public safety; fined $585, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 365 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, no same or similar.

Jose R. Ruiz, 56, of Owatonna received an amended court decision and a stay of imposition pursuant to Minnesota statutes on a felony charge of violate No Contact Order-within 10 years of the first of two or more convictions; may serve jail in any Minnesota county jail at defendant’s expense, court changed report date to 3/31/21, may serve 60 days on electronic home monitoring at defendant’s expense, will be 60 actual days with credit for time served, if not set up on EHM by 3/31/21 then must report for jail at 7 p.m. on 3/31/21.

Joshua L. Stofferahn, 28, of Wells was convicted of domestic assault; fined $285, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 88 days for one year, credit for time served two days, one year supervised probation, sentence to service eight hours for indeterminate, contact probation officer as directed, no mood-altering chemicals, random testing, follow all recommendations of current chemical dependency assessment, complete domestic abuse counseling/treatment as directed by agent, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use or possess firearms, ammunition or explosives if prohibited by law. Additional felony charge of domestic assault by strangulation was dismissed.

Roland G. Robins, 51, of Kiester was convicted of careless driving-operate any vehicle carelessly on streets or highways; fined $185, restitution reserved for 30 days.
