Speeding –Mariah T. Jensen, 23, of Blue Earth; fined $145.

Rachel A. Spencer, 39, of Winnebago received a stay of imposition pursuant to Minnesota statutes on a felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; sentenced to jail 49 days, credit for time served 49 days, hold until updated chemical dependency assessment then release to hold in Chippewa County, follow all recommendations for care and aftercare, five years supervised probation, sentence to service eight days for indeterminate, successfully complete the FMJ Adult Drug Court program and follow all recommendations and expectations, successfully complete mental health assessment as directed and follow all recommendations for care and aftercare, obtain employment, maintain employment, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, provide list of medications to agent, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, give a DNA sample when directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, don’t register to vote or vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored. Additional felony charge of third-degree controlled substance possession in school, park or public housing zone was dismissed.

Daniel S. Schimel, 25, of Truman was convicted of fifth-degree assault-inflict or attempt bodily harm; fined $385, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year supervised probation, contact probation within 24 hours of hearing, complete chemical use assessment and follow all recommendations, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing at the request of probation or law enforcement, no further violations of the law, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives.

Garth C. Weir, 53, of Eagan had a felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana continued for dismissal; one year unsupervised monitoring without conviction, find stable housing, comply with individual therapy recommended by provider, no same or similar. Also convicted of disorderly conduct-offensive/abusive/noisy/obscene; fined $185, Additional charge of trespass on premises of another and refuse to depart was dismissed.

Willem Jeune, 43, of Kansas City, Mo. was convicted of speeding; fined $125. Also convicted of CMV violation-driver has no record of duty status in possession (log book); fined $100. Also convicted of hands free law-initiate/compose/send/retrieve/read electronic message; fined $50.
