Benjamin J. Feist, 30, of Oskaloosa, Iowa; Matthew P. McKay, 48, of Kalamazoo, Mich.; each fined $145.

James W. Fuller III, 48, of Appleton, Wis.; fined $225.

Failure to wear seat belt while in a motor vehicle — Andrew L. Marks, 41, of Wells; fined $110.

Improperly worn seat belt — Jayme K. Suhr, 29, of Casper, Wyo.; fined $110.

Ron F. Schreiber, 59, of Blue Earth was convicted of driving after cancellation-inimical to public safety; fined $285, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 363 days for one year, credit for time served two days, one year unsupervised probation, no same or similar.

Richard D. Raimann, 65, of Wells was convicted of fifth-degree assault; fined $385, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, no same or similar, no assault or disorderly conduct. Additional charge of disorderly conduct-brawling or fighting was dismissed.

Wanda J. Espeland, 61, of Blue Earth was convicted of operate motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol; fined $610, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, attend MADD impact panel, complete chemical assessment and follow all recommendations. Additional charge of fourth-degree driving while impaired was dismissed.

Bailey K, Chaffee, 20, of Fairmont received a statutory stay of adjudication on a charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $400, one year supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, remain law-abiding, complete chemical assessment, follow recommendations of evaluation, no alcohol/controlled substance use, random testing, follow all conditions set forth in the probation agreement, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. Also convicted of fail to yield right-of-way to driver on right at uncontrolled intersection; fined $135, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, no same or similar. Additional charge of possession of drug paraphernalia-use prohibited was dismissed.
