Wireless communications device-engage in cellular phone or video call — Marie C. Eisele, 42, of Elmore; fined $135.

Failure of driver to stop for a stop sign — Mark A. Johnson, 59, of Bricelyn; fined $135.

No Minnesota drivers license — Reynaldo de Leon Marquez, 56, of Fairmont; fined $185.

Over legal tandem axle weight — Ronald L. Hoppe, 65, of Delavan; fined $285.

Samuel A. Johnson, 24, of Wells was convicted of driving after suspension; fined $285. Also convicted of failure to wear seat belt while in a motor vehicle; fined $25. Additional charge of no proof of motor vehicle insurance was dismissed.

Robert R. Torres, 38, of Brigham City, Utah received a stay of adjudication on a charge of hands free law-access video content/images/games/software applications; fined $135. six months probation to the court, no moving violations, no driving violations.

Jacob S. Heald, 34, of Maplewood was convicted of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $585, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 363 days for two years, credit for time served two days, two years supervised probation, sentence to service three days for indeterminate, complete Rule 25 chemical dependency evaluation within 30 days and follow all recommendations, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if been charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, give a DNA sample when directed, don’t use or possess firearms, ammunition or explosives. Also convicted of driving after cancellation; fined $100, sentenced to jail two days, credit for time served two days. Additional charge of no proof of insurance was dismissed.

April B. Lind, 36, of Fairmont was convicted of no proof of motor vehicle insurance; fined $200. Also convicted of failure to wear seat belt while in a motor vehicle; fined $110.
