Failure to wear seat belt while in a motor vehicle — David A. Miller, 32, of Ceylon; fined $110.

Failure to drive with due care-speed greater than reasonable — Joseph M. Garletz, 34, of Winnebago; fined $125.

No Minnesota drivers license — Andy Unzueta, 35, of Chicago, Ill.; fined $185.

Christopher J. Baer, 21, of Truman received a statutory stay of adjudication on a charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $500, sentenced to jail 33 days, credit for time served 33 days, one year supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, remain law-abiding, cognitive skill training, chemical dependency evaluation/treatment, follow recommendations of evaluation, maintain employment, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. Additional charge of driving after revocation was dismissed.

Anthony Sandoval, 30, of Fairmont was convicted on a felony charge of domestic assault; fined $585, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 18 months, stayed five years, sentenced to jail 113 days, credit for time served 113 days, five years supervised probation, follow all conditions set forth in the probation agreement, complete chemical assessment and follow all recommendations, mental health evaluation, follow all recommendations of evaluation, complete domestic abuse batterer’s intervention program and follow all recommendations, abide by all current and future Orders for Protection, cognitive skill training if recommended by agent, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, provide list of prescribed medications to probation officer, obtain employment, maintain employment, no contact with victim(s), obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, give DNA sample when directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, don’t register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored. Also convicted of domestic abuse-violate No Contact Order; sentenced to jail 90 days, credit for time served 90 days. Two additional felony charges of fifth-degree assault-same victim-two or more previous convictions, and domestic assault by strangulation, and a misdemeanor charge of interrupt/impede/interfere/disrupt emergency 911 call, were all dismissed.

Taunia L. Arndt, 38, of Fairmont received a stay of adjudication on a felony charge of perjury-in any writing under oath; fined $285, five years unsupervised monitoring without adjudication, may not receive SNAP benefits while on probation, no misdemeanor or greater violations of the law, remain law-abiding. Additional charge of wrongfully obtaining assistance by false statements, concealment or impersonation was dismissed.
