Wireless communications device-engage in cellular phone or video call — McKenzie L. Terfehr, 33, of Fairmont; fined $135.

Dog at large-first offense — Debra J. Kotewa, 55, of Fairmont; fined $135.

Tiger D. Mason, 45, of Fairmont received a stay of imposition pursuant to Minnesota statutes on a felony charge of theft by swindle; fined $40,085, restitution $40,000, sentenced to jail 20 days, defendant to serve 10 weekends in jail beginning 8/14/20, 10 years supervised probation, pay restitution, write letter of apology, don’t engage in any theft or stealing-type behavior while on probation, may leave the state for work purposes without a travel permit from agent, no contact with victim(s), obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all conditions set forth in probation agreement, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, give a DNA sample when directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, don’t register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored. Additional felony charge of theft by swindle was dismissed.

Raymond L. Buckmeier, 57, of Granada was convicted of third-degree driving while impaired-alcohol concentration 0.08 within two hours; fined $810, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 363 days for two years, credit for time served two days, two years supervised probation, follow all conditions set forth in the probation agreement, attend MADD impact panel, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, complete chemical assessment, follow recommendations of evaluation, report to agent within 24 hours of sentencing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. Additional charge of third-degree operate motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol was dismissed.
