Desmond R. Madera, 21, of Lansing, Mich.; fined $145.

No or inoperative breakaway brakes — Joshua R. Hoppe, 39, of Truman; fined $185.

Dayton L. Nielsen, 22, of Fairmont received a stay of imposition pursuant to Minnesota statutes on a felony charge of check forgery-offer or possess with intent to defraud; fined $864, restitution $864, sentenced to jail 33 days, credit for time served 33 days, five years supervised probation, defendant to remain in custody until bed becomes available at Project Turnabout, pay restitution, cognitive skill training as directed by supervising agent, complete mental health diagnostic assessment and follow all recommendations for care and aftercare, complete residential treatment at Project Turnabout and follow recommendations for care and aftercare including additional treatment placements, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all conditions set forth in probation agreement, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, take medications in prescribed dosage and frequency and provide proof to supervising agent, obtain employment, maintain employment, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, give a DNA sample when directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, don’t register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored.
