Failure to wear seat belt while in a motor vehicle — Vincent C. Bleess, 54, of Delavan; Rick R. Dopp, 46, of Delavan; Dale A. Harpestad, 78, of Wells; each fined $110.

Improperly worn seat belt — Janet L. McKenzie, 65, of Brandon, S.D.; fined $110.

Failure to drive with due care — Jessica L. Loken, 21, of Blue Earth; fined $125.

Wireless communications device-engage in cellular phone or video call — Daron C. Wilson, 57, of Algona, Iowa; fined $135.

Failure to stop at stop signs or stop lines at entrance to thru highway — Rory J. Anderson, 45, of Frost; fined $135.

Larry J. Furland, 45, of Blue earth received an amended court decision on a felony charge of domestic assault by strangulation; fined $1,085, sentenced to jail 60 days, credit for time served 33 days, three years supervised probation, Domestic No Contact (DANCO), complete domestic abuse batterers intervention as approved by agent, no mood-altering chemicals, random testing, successfully complete treatment at RS Eden and follow all discharge recommendations, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, give a DNA sample when directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, don’t register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored. One additional felony charge of terroristic threats-reckless disregard and misdemeanor charges of domestic assault-subsequent conviction, and interrupt, interfere, impede or disrupt 911 emergency telephone call, were all dismissed.

Colton T. Neuhalfen, 30, of Blue Earth received a statutory stay of adjudication on a felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $1,085, sentenced to jail seven days, credit for time served seven days, three years supervised probation, follow all recommendations in Rule 25 assessment, no mood-altering chemicals, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if been charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use or possess firearms, ammunition or explosives if prohibited by law. Also convicted of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $585, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 361 days for two years, credit for time served four days, two years supervised probation, follow all recommendations in Rule 25 assessment, no mood-altering chemicals, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if been charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed. Also convicted of open bottle law-possession; sentenced to jail seven days, credit for time served seven days. Additional charges of fourth-degree driving while impaired, possess ammo or any firearm while user of controlled substances, and possession of drug paraphernalia, were all dismissed.

James Williams Jr., 54, of Blue Earth had a charge of issue dishonored check-offense continued for dismissal; fined $320.28, restitution $245.28, one year probation to the court, pay restitution, pay $75 public defender co-pay, no same or similar.

Athena A. Berg, 27, of Albert Lea was convicted of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $85, sentenced to jail 99 days, credit for time served 99 days.
