Driving without a valid driver’s license for vehicle class or type — Miguel A. Vargas-Carmona, 28, of Fairmont; fined $185.

Carl Oscar V. Fagre, 24, of Minnesota Lake received a stay of adjudication on a charge of domestic assault-commits act to cause fear of immediate bodily harm or death; fined $585, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 88 days for one year, credit for time served two days, one year supervised probation, follow all recommendations of a chemical dependency assessment 2/24/2020, complete Domestic Abuse Program (DAP), stay in individual anger management therapy until DAP is open to enroll, out-of-pocket costs for DAP may offset the fine, no mood-altering chemicals, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if been charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use or possess firearms, ammunition or explosives if prohibited by law.

Anton R. Leiseth, 29, of Maynard received a stay of imposition pursuant to Minnesota statutes on a felony charge of second-degree burglary of a dwelling; fined $1,848.16, restitution $1,263.16, sentenced to jail six days, credit for time served six days, five years supervised probation, pay joint restitution, complete outpatient treatment at Valhalla Place and follow recommendations, no mood-altering chemicals, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if been charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use or possess firearms, ammunition or explosives, don’t register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored. Additional felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana was dismissed.

Tharon J. Wetzel, 27, of Wells received a stay of imposition pursuant to Minnesota statutes on a felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $85, sentenced to jail 19 days, credit for time served 19 days, two years supervised probation, sentence to service 40 hours for indeterminate, follow all recommendations of the updated chemical dependency assessment dated 1/14/2020, complete mental health evaluation within 45 days and follow all recommendations, no mood-altering chemicals, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if been charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use or possess firearms, ammunition or explosives, don’t register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored. Also convicted of fourth-degree driving while impaired; sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 71 days for one year, credit for time served 19 days, one year supervised probation, follow all instructions of probation. Additional charges of careless driving, and possession of drug paraphernalia, were both dismissed.

Todd A. Whitney, 33, of Wells received a stay of adjudication on a charge of overwork/mistreat animals; fined $858.72, restitution $858.72, one year unsupervised probation, pay restitution, forfeit dog and $500 bond is forfeited in administrative file, no same or similar.
