Operate motor vehicle with expired registration — Neal J. Potthoff, 58, of Dunnell; fined $115.

Possession of small amount of marijuana-no remuneration — Ethan T. Ask, 19, of Trimont; fined $135.

Child passenger restraint system not fastened for child under the age of 8 and under 57 inches tall — Crystal L. Hollman, 37, of Blue Earth; fined $135.

Vehicle window restrictions-tint too dark — Gage D. Salisbury, 21, of Fairmont; fined $135.

Driving without a valid driver’s license for vehicle class or type — Julian G. Lorenzo, 23, of Fairmont; fined $185.

Cecilia A. Hernandez, 35, of Fairmont was convicted of driving after revocation; fined $285. Also convicted of failure of driver to carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle; fined $200.

Eric S. Driehorst, 41, of Fairmont was convicted of marijuana in motor vehicle-less than 1.4 grams; fined $135. Also convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia; fined $50.

Bailey K. Hanson, 21, of Blue Earth was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia; fined $135. Also convicted of marijuana in motor vehicle-less than 1.4 grams; fined $50.

FARIBAULT COUNTY

DISTRICT COURT

Justin L. Kiewiet, 39, of Elmore was convicted of possess ammunition/any firearm-previous felony conviction; fined $85, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 365 days for two years, two years supervised probation, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc., by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. Additional charges of recklessly handle or use dangerous weapons, and hunting violation-illegal transport of firearm in motor vehicle, were both dismissed.

April M. Valliant, 34, of Granada was convicted of driving after revocation; fined $285. Additional charge of driving after revocation was dismissed.

Michael J. Diel, 33, of Amboy received a stay of imposition pursuant to Minnesota statutes on a felony charge of firearms-obliterate, remove or change serial number; fined $85, sentenced to jail three days, credit for time served three days, one year unsupervised probation, no same or similar, don’t register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored.
