Wayne C. McKay, 33, of Winnebago; fined $145.

Failure to wear seat belt while in a motor vehicle — Ronnie G. Leiding, 69, of Ceylon; fined $110.

Kimberly Jo Howell, 28, of Jackson received a statutory stay of adjudication on a felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $1,000, sentenced to jail 10 days, credit for time served 10 days, five years supervised probation, follow all conditions set forth in the probation agreement, complete chemical assessment and follow all recommendations of evaluation, complete mental health evaluation within 90 days of sentencing and follow all recommendations for care and aftercare, provide proof of any prescribed medication to supervising agent, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, approval from agent is needed prior to return to Iowa, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. Additional felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana, and misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, were both dismissed.

Ryan P. O’Grady, 40, of Welcome was convicted of domestic assault; sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 86 days for one year, one year supervised probation, follow all conditions set forth in the probation agreement, attend at least five sessions of individual counseling as directed with a licensed counselor approved by probation officer, no alcohol/controlled substance use, random testing, remain law-abiding, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives.

Johnathan D. Oldenkamp, 27, of Cylinder, Iowa, received a statutory stay of adjudication on a felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $1,000, sentenced to jail 10 days, credit for time served 10 days, five years supervised probation, follow all conditions set forth in the probation agreement, complete chemical assessment within 90 days of sentencing and follow all recommendations of evaluation, complete mental health screening within 90 days of sentencing and follow all recommendations for care and aftercare, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, approval from agent is needed prior to return to Iowa, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. Additional felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana, and three misdemeanor charges of driving without a valid drivers license for vehicle class or type, failure of driver to carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle, and possession of drug paraphernalia, were all dismissed.

Jarek B. Cutler, 18, of Trimont was convicted of failure to wear seat belt while in a motor vehicle; fined $110. Additional charge of failure of driver to carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle was dismissed.

FARIBAULT COUNTY

DISTRICT COURT

Ladimir F. Benes IV, 21, of Walters was convicted of speeding; fined $125. Also convicted of failure to wear seat belt while in a motor vehicle; fined $25.

Roberto A. Escamilla, 38, of Worthington was convicted of no Minnesota driver’s license (after 60 days residency/30 days CDL); fined $185. Additional charge of speeding was dismissed.

Eddie McClinton, 37, of Houston, Texas, was convicted of possession of marijuana in motor vehicle; fined $135. Also convicted of non-emergency stop on freeway; fined $40.
