Auxiliary light cover(s) required — Paul A. Schulz, 40, of North Mankato; fined $135.

Eric P. Mathison, 44, of Mankato was convicted of second-degree driving while impaired-two or more aggravating factors; fined $865, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 313 days for two years, credit for time served 52 days, two years supervised probation, sentence to service two days for 60 days, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, complete House of Hope treatment program and follow all recommendations for aftercare, attend MADD impact panel, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives of prohibited by law. An additional felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-small amount of marijuana, and a misdemeanor charge of operate motor vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance, were both dismissed.

Robert L. Thompson, 33, of Blue Earth was convicted of obstruct legal process-interfere with peace officer; fined $835, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 361 days for two years, credit for time served four days, two years supervised probation, sentence to service 40 hours for 180 days, complete chemical assessment by 9/23/19, follow all recommendations of the Rule 25 chemical dependency assessment, no mood-altering chemicals, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use or possession firearms, ammunition or explosives if prohibited by law. Additional charges of fourth-degree assault on a peace officer, and disorderly conduct-brawling or fighting, were both dismissed.

Jesse W. Houfer, 39, of Alpha was convicted of failure of driver to carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle; sentenced to jail 10 days, credit for time served 10 days.

Blake H. Adams, 51, of (no address provided) was convicted of speeding; fined $385. Additional charge of reckless driving-drives consciously disregarding a substantial or unjustifiable risk was dismissed.

Elias D. Kauffmann, 18, of Winnebago was convicted of reckless driving-drives consciously disregarding a substantial or unjustifiable risk; fined $385. Also convicted of drivers license instruction permit violations-requirements for persons 18 years or older; fined $50. Additional charge of failure of driver involved to stop for collision of driven or attended vehicle was dismissed.

Terry L. Bowen, 46, of Minnesota Lake was convicted on two separate charges of driving after suspension; fined $185 for each charge. Also convicted of move over law violation-two lanes in same direction; fined $50. Additional charge of failure to wear seat belt while in a motor vehicle was dismissed.

Joseph D. Alford, 23, of Panaca, Nev., was convicted of driving after suspension; fined $200. Also convicted of failure to obtain new drivers license after changing name or address; fined $105.
