Matthew A. Burns, 28, of Fairmont was convicted of check forgery-offer or possess with intent to defraud; fined $100, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 335 days for two years, credit for time served 20 days, two years supervised probation, pay restitution, follow all instructions of probation, remain law-abiding, complete chemical assessment, cognitive skill training, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, give a DNA sample when directed, do not use or possess firearms, ammunition or explosives. A felony charge of aid and abet check forgery-offer or possess with intent to defraud was dismissed.

Daniel J. Lotzgesell, 39, of Faribault was convicted of domestic assault-intentionally attempts to inflict bodily harm on another; sentenced to jail 60 days, credit for time served 60 days, pay restitution of $1,308.61.

Kenneth M. Tuncle, 44, of Fairmont was convicted on a felony charge of predatory offender-knowingly violates registration requirements or intentionally provides false information; fined $85, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 18 months, may be subject to conditional release, supply DNA sample. An additional felony charge of predatory offender-knowingly violates registration requirements or intentionally provides false information was dismissed.

Daniel J. Espeland, 54, of Truman was convicted of no parking violation-time restriction; fined $72. Additional charge of no parking violation-time restriction was dismissed.
