Darren J. McMurtry, 21, of Fairmont received a statutory stay of adjudication on a felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $785, sentenced to jail four days, credit for time served four days, one year supervised probation, complete chemical assessment and follow all recommendations of evaluation, no alcohol/controlled substance use, random testing, follow all conditions set forth in the probation agreement, remain law-abiding, attend at least five individual and/or family counseling sessions if recommended by treating therapist, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if you’ve been charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if you change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of your person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by your probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition or explosives.

Jeth M. Poland, 20, of Kiester received a statutory stay of adjudication on a charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $700, sentenced to jail three days, credit for time served three days, one year supervised probation, complete chemical assessment and follow all recommendations of evaluation, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, remain law-abiding, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all conditions set forth in the probation agreement, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if you’ve been charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if you change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of your person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by your probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives.

Elizabeth F. Weber, 18, of Windom received a statutory stay of adjudication on a felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $1,210, sentenced to jail four days, credit for time served four days, five years supervised probation, complete chemical assessment within 90 days of sentencing and follow recommendations for care and aftercare, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, obtain employment, maintain employment, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all conditions set forth in the probation agreement, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if you’ve been charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if you change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of your person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by your probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. Additional felony charge of third-degree controlled substance possession-10 grams or more was dismissed.

Armando J. Rivera, 56, of Fairmont was convicted of junk-other than weeds and grass; fined $185, sentenced to jail 15 days, stayed 15 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, keep property cleaned up, no same or similar. Additional charge of solid waste collection/storage was dismissed.

Lazarous L. Thomas, 22, of Fairmont was convicted of counterfeiting of currency-utter/possess; fined $285, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 365 days for two years, two years unsupervised probation, no same or similar.
