FAIRMONT — Monroe Xiao and Ian Heuer were married Feb. 20, 2018, in Chongqing, China. Parents of the couple are Mr. Xuemin Xiao of Chongqing, China, Ms. Zhiwei Zhao of Johannesburg, South Africa, and John and Kathy Heuer of Fairmont. Monroe operates a vintage jewelry and apparel re-sale business, while Ian works as a staff member in the International Affairs Office at Sun Yat-sen University. The couple currently reside in Guangzhou, China. They are making plans to permanently relocate to the United States in 2019.
