MADELIA — Kathryn Homan and Christian Petschke were married Aug. 14, 2021, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Mankato, with Fr. John Kunz and Fr. Jim Berning officiating.

Parents of the couple are Doug and Mary Homan of Mankato, Jeff Petschke of Fairmont, and the late Tamara Petschke.

Matron of honor was Karina Hested, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Catlin Frederick, Karissa Nickels and Meghan Blaine, friends of the bride.

Flower girls were Kaia Black, niece of the groom, and Mabel Frederick and Sylvia Nickels, friends of the couple.

Best man was Jordan Petschke, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Lucas Hested, Jacob Portz and Levi Becker, friends of the groom.

Readers were Katie Petschke, sister of the groom and Jake Homan, brother of the bride.

After the ceremony, a reception was held at the Schroeder Farm in Lake Crystal.

Kathryn teaches kindergarten at Mankato Loyola, and Christian is employed by Wakefield Pork.

The couple make their home in Madelia.
