FAIRMONT — Laura Christians and Matthew Douglas were married Oct. 7, 2017, at Red Rock Center in Fairmont. Arlyn Valvick, family friend, officiated the ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Kent and Marlys Christians, and Randy and Karen Douglas, all of Fairmont.

Maid of honor was Kimberly Miller, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Rachel Rice, Kirsten Worlds, April Breck, Ashley Irwin and Emily Lyle, all friends of the bride. Personal attendant was Ashley A. Blazejak, friend of the bride.

Best man was Bryan Barchenger, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Gavin Peterson, son of the groom, Michael Douglas, brother of the groom, Benjamin Muller and Charles Bettin, friends of the groom. Honorary groomsmen was George Pierce, friend of the groom.

Ring bearer was Isaac Oltjenbruns, son of the groom.

Guests were ushered by Shane Palmquist and Jordan Grawe, friends of the groom.

Wedding music was provided by Emily Labes, pianist.

A reception and dance was held at the Fairmont Holiday Inn.

The couple live in Fairmont.
