STEM–magnets and electronics for kids Children in Grades 4 to 6 can come and explore the nature of magnets and electronics from 3 to 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 13 and 14 in the Fairmont Elementary School media center. Using building block kits, students will use a hands-on approach to conducting experiments using science, logic, and engineering to gain a better understanding of how things work. Last day for family rollerskate The final day for rollerskating is from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. today, Tuesday, Dec. 31 at the Five Lakes Gym in Fairmont Elementary School. Skates will be supplied, do not bring any supplies. Pre-registration is not required, however, the $5 admission fee must be paid for at the door.
