Fairmont’s first Lakefest The first-annual LakeFest, hosted by the City of Fairmont in partnership with the Imagine Martin Community Information Hub, will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 10 at Amber Lake Park in Fairmont. The festival will celebrate the Fairmont five lake, educating the community about the importance keeping them clean. Kiwanis to meet Early Risers Kiwanis of Fairmont will gather for their weekly breakfast at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 6, at The Ranch restaurant in Fairmont. A meeting at 6:50 a.m. will follow.
