Heritage Acres Fall Festival
The annual Fall Festival will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 18, at Heritage Acres in Fairmont. Events and activities include an ecumenical chapel service at 10 a.m. in the Heritage Acres chapel, soup and sandwich lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Prairieville Building, live music from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Prairieville Building, antique equipment demonstrations, and more. People First sell fudge, caramel
People First will sell boxes of fudge (flavors include chocolate, chocolate walnut, chocolate peanut butter, chocolate mint swirl, chocolate amaretto swirl, praline, rocky road, sea salt caramel and candy cane) and caramels for $10. Proceeds will go to the Fairmont Opera House. Orders will be taken until Nov. 13, and will be delivered after Dec. 12. SJV Hope Café
St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Fairmont will serve a free meal at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 18. All are welcome to attend. If unable to attend due to lack of transportation, call (507) 235-2451 by noon on Friday, Oct. 16 to make arrangements to have a meal delivered.
