SPL Holy Hotdish
St. Paul's Lutheran (SPL) Church in Truman will host the Holy Hotdish fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 4. The cost is a free-will donation. Take-out orders will be available. Proceeds will support organ repairs. For additional information, contact SPL at (507) 776-2802.

CER acupressure, other tools
An acupressure workshop for women ages 35 and older will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 7, on Zoom. Acupressure is an ancient healing art that can offer great relief, with no side effects, from symptoms such as hot flashes, mood swings, bloating, headaches, irritability, nausea, insomnia, anxiety and even weight gain. Learn which points balance hormone levels naturally, including thyroid hormones. The class will discuss breathing techniques, nutritional musts and more.
