Kiwanis Club to meet

Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet for breakfast at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 16, at The Ranch restaurant in Fairmont. A meeting at 6:50 a.m. will follow. The meeting's speaker will be Martin County Library Director Jenny Trushenski, who will share current activities. All are welcome to attend.

GLC Apple Pie Bake Sale for Missions

Grace Lutheran Church will hold its annual Apple Pie Bake Sale for Missions. One pie costs a $18 donation. Three or more pies cost $15 donations each. Pie selections include baked or unbaked, crumb crust or regular crust. Pies can be pre-ordered by contacting (507) 235-3090 with an order and contact information. Pie pick-up will be from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19 and from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 20, at Grace Lutheran Church.

Bohemian Hippie Market

Giddy Up Boutique and Imagine Martin will host the Bohemian Hippie Market from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19, at West 1st Street in Fairmont. Events include 25 vendors outside on West 1st Street, 25 vendors in the Imagine Martin Community Information Hub, more vendors in the Michael and Elizabeth Garry Building/The Hive, food trucks, Bohemian clothing, vintage decor, macrame, plants, crystals, readings, henna tattoos and more.

Fairmont Farmers Market

The Fairmont Farmers Market will be from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturdays, and from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesdays in the parking lot of Bomgaar's in Fairmont. For additional information, visit facebook.com/fairmontMNfarmersmarket.

BE Community Market

MCHS open hours

The Martin County Humane Society/Carl Nettifee Memorial Animal Shelter (MCHS) in Fairmont will be open from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays. To view adoptable pets and additional information, visit mchsofmn.org or contact the MCHS at (507) 238-1885.
