Household Hazardous Waste Collection
Prairieland Solid Waste Management (PSWM) in Truman will have a Household Hazardous Waste Collection for Martin and Faribault County residents from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 16. Cuddle Buddies huddle at Fairmont library

Fairmont Sip and Shop
Fairmont Area Chamber of Commerce will host the fourth annual Sip and Shop from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 17, at participating stores in Fairmont. The event includes drinks, snacks, exclusive sales, prizes and giveaways. Participants must be 21 or older. Tickets cost $20 per person.
