Bryan Unke Memorial Bean Bag Tournament
Bryan Unke Memorial Bean Bag Tournament and Live Music by Ian Hilmer's Drivestation will be from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 12, at The Marina Lodge Lakeside Pub and Provisions in Fairmont. Registration will begin at noon, and the bean bag tournament will begin at 1 p.m. The cost is $10 per person. Registration can be completed on the Scoreholio app.
Community Covenant Church 40th Anniversary
Community Covenant Church in Huntley will celebrate its 40th anniversary with Wednesday Night Supper from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. today, Wednesday, Sept. 9. The menu includes burgers, hotdogs, brats, potato salad, baked beans, cake and ice cream. Activities include wagon rides, horse rides and outdoor games.

An Uber workshop will be from noon to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 15, on Zoom. Learn to use Uber at major airports so that you can travel with confidence and without having to ask a friend for a ride, as well as for other appointments and errands. CER How To Use Venmo Safely
A Venmo workshop will be from noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 17, on Zoom. In this class, you’ll discover how to securely pay friends and businesses, as well as receive money without the need for cash or checks, gain a confident understanding of setting up Venmo safely, avoiding unnecessary fees, and applying it in real-world scenarios for you and your family. CREST Lunch and Learn
CREST Lunch and Learn will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 14, at Christian Church of Fairmont, and on Wednesday, Sept. 16, at First Lutheran Church in Trimont. Joyce Peterson will present a slideshow about Duluth-Superior shipping. All Martin County seniors are invited to bring a friend and attend this presentation, followed by a home-cooked lunch.
