MCHS Veteran Chase Crawford presentation

Community Worship in the Park

Grace Lutheran Church will host Wednesday Community Worship in the Park at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 26, at the Sylvania Park Bandshell in Fairmont. There will be messages from community members and pastors. All are welcome to attend.

UCC for free community meal

First Congregational United Church of Christ (UCC) in Fairmont will host its monthly free community meal at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 26. The Fairmont Rotary Club will serve ham sandwiches, salads, watermelon, dessert and beverages. All are welcome to attend.

Fantasy Book Club

The Fantasy Book Club will have its monthly meeting at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 27, in the magazine room at the Martin County Library in Fairmont. This month, the club will read "Nettle and Bone" by T. Kingfisher. The book follows a princess who embarks on a quest to complete daring tasks to gain power to confront a prince and save her sister from her cruel royal marriage. Books will be distributed. Social Dance Club

W'bago library LEGO Club

The Heritage Acres Board of Directors will have its monthly meeting at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 27, in the Prairieville Building at Heritage Acres in Fairmont. MCHS open hours
