Martin County Fair Entry Day
Martin County Fair Entry Day is Monday, Aug. 17. Auction sign-up will be at 2 p.m., non-livestock open class entries will be accepted from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Bank Midwest building, 4-H general projects judging will be from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Bank Midwest building, 4-H rabbit check-in will be from 3 to 6 p.m. at the poultry/rabbit barn, 4-H poultry check-in will be from 5 to 6 p.m. at the poultry/rabbit barn and 4-H meat goat and sheep check-in will be from 5 to 7 p.m. at the cattle barn. Fairmont Rotary Club to meet
Fairmont Rotary Club will meet for a tour of the Michael and Elizabeth Garry Building/The Hive at noon on Monday, Aug. 17, in downtown Fairmont. For additional information, visit fairmontrotary.org.
Church on the Lawn
Church on the Lawn services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 16 at East Chain Evangelical Free Church (ECEFC). The speaker will be ECEFC Youth Pastor Alex Andrews. The service includes live band worship, Bible teaching and children's programs. Before the service, donuts and coffee will be served at 10 a.m. Bring a lawn chair and a friend. All are welcome. MCHS open hours
