Kiwanis to meet
Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet for breakfast at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 12, at The Ranch restaurant in Fairmont. The meeting's speaker will be Leslie Walkowiak, who will share information about the new Prayer Garden and more activities at United Methodist Church in Fairmont. A meeting at 6:50 a.m. will follow. All are welcome to attend.
Fairmont/BE Baby Cafés
Fairmont Baby Café will be from 9 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 12, at Fairmont Elementary School. Blue Earth Baby Café will be from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, Aug. 14, at the Blue Earth Community Library. These support groups are for pregnant and nursing individuals. The Eagles Club in Fairmont will have karaoke from 7 to 11 p.m., and Silo'67 bar and grill in Fairmont will have karaoke from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 14.
CER YouTube starter kit
A YouTube channel starter kit workshop will be from noon to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 18, on Zoom. The class will guide participants through a step-by-step process, ensuring they have all the tools and knowledge to get started.
