Blood drives in the area
American Red Cross blood drives will be on Monday, Aug. 10, from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Assembly of God Regional Worship Center in Sherburn, from 1:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church in Amboy, and from 1 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 11, at the Grandview Baptist Church in Estherville, Iowa. YFC The Lighthouse peach sales
Youth for Christ (YFC) of Martin County-The Lighthouse will sell Colorado peaches from Monday, Aug. 10 to Friday, Aug. 14. The cost is $56 for a 20-pound crate of peaches and $30 for a half crate. Pick-up will be at The Lighthouse, located at 213 Downtown Plaza in Fairmont. To purchase peaches and for additional information, contact YFC of Martin County-The Lighthouse at (507) 236-7969.
