Martin Co. veteran presentation

A free Martin County Veteran presentation, featuring the military experiences of Lauren Tesdahl, will be at 2 p.m. today, Tuesday, June 16, at the Pioneer Museum in Fairmont. All are welcome to attend.

Kiwanis to meet

The Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet for breakfast at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 17, at The Ranch restaurant in Fairmont. A meeting at 6:50 p.m. will follow. The meeting’s speaker will be Rich Bradley, who will share the history of Weigh-Tronix in Fairmont. All are welcome.

Imagine Martin Art Mart will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, at West 1st Street in Fairmont. Fairmont Triathlons and 5K

Marty’s Youth Triathlon for ages 5 to 15 will be at 5:15 p.m. on Friday, June 19, at the Fairmont Aquatic Park. Ages 5 to 8 will compete in a 25m pool swim (flotation devices allowed), one mile bike ride and a quarter mile run. Ages 9 to 11 will compete in a 25m pool swim (flotation devices allowed), a 1.8-mile bike ride and a half-mile run. Ages 12 to 15 will compete in a 50m pool swim, a 3.5-mile bike ride and a one-mile run. Fairmont Triathlon Sprint Triathlon will be at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 20, at Gomsrud Park in Fairmont. Athletes will compete in a quarter-mile swim on Budd or Hall Lake, a 20K bike ride and a 5K run. Bacon Run 5K will be at 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 20, at Gomsrud Park.
