Martin Co. collection

Prairieland Solid Waste Management will have a collection from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 13, at the Martin County Highway Department. Accepted items include household hazardous waste (free), appliances, electronics ($15 each), furniture ($15 each), garbage ($15 per cubic yard) and tires ($3 car, $10 semi/racing, $40 for tractor). Cash or check will be accepted. Coupons will be accepted.

BE/Fairmont fruit sales

The Fruit Truck will sell 20 pounds of Georgia Peaches for $45, 10 pounds of dark cherries for $45, South Dakota honey for $15 and 12 ounces of GA Elliot pecans for $15 from 2:45 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, at TJD Repair and Service in Blue Earth, and from 3:30 to 3:45 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, at Live Fit Sports and Wellness Center in Fairmont. Odin FD burger/ice cream benefit

Odin Fire Department Relief Association will host its annual burger and ice cream sundae benefit from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, at the Odin Fire Department. Proceeds will go to Fire and EMS equipment.

CER Canva Creative Projects

A Canva workshop will be from noon to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, on Zoom. Participants will learn to design and create everything from custom greeting cards and party invitations to printable wall art, gift tags, and personalized crafts.
