KC breakfast to support MCHS

The Knights of Columbus will serve breakfast from 9 to 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 7, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Fairmont. The proceeds will support the Martin County Historical Society (MCHS).

Fairmont Service Club to meet

The Fairmont Service Club will meet at noon on Tuesday, June 9, at the Best Western hotel in Fairmont. All are welcome to attend.

Fairmont City Band to perform

Fairmont City Band will have its first rehearsal from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and concert from 8 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9, at the Sylvania Park Bandshell in Fairmont. The concert is free. All are welcome to attend. Intermission entertainment will be by Dick Miller. The Interlaken Heritage Days (IHD) committee will operate the concession stand to support IHD. Any cancellations will be announced on Facebook. The Fairmont City Band is always looking for new members. There are no auditions or tryouts. Clown Around with HFA

Community Health and Human Services of Faribault and Martin Counties will have Let’s Clown Around with HFA from 3 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9, at Putnam Park in Blue Earth, and on Thursday, June 11, at Gomsrud Park in Fairmont. Learn about the Healthy Families America program. There will be games, crafts and storytime. Household Hazardous Waste Collection

Prairieland Solid Waste Management (PSWM) in Truman will have a Household Hazardous Waste Collection for Martin and Faribault County residents from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10.
