DIY Tin Can Caddy

DIY Tin Can Caddy craft event for adults will be at 3 p.m. on Monday, June 8, at the Watonwan County Library in Lewisville. Adults will learn how to make tin can caddies for summer picnics. PSQG to meet

The Prairie Star Quilt Guild (PSQG) will meet on Monday, June 8, at the Fairmont Evangelical Covenant Church in Fairmont. The Quilt Board will meet at 12:30 p.m., and the regular membership meeting will begin at 1 p.m. The June program will be “Around the Web”. Members can bring their favorite websites to share. Tmt library Sign Language Basics

Sign Language Basics will be from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9, at the Trimont City Library. Led by instructor Donna Johnson, the class will focus on basic vocabulary in American Sign Language (ASL). For additional information, contact the Trimont City Library at (507) 639-2571.

CER Basic Dog Manners

For ages 12 and up (16 and under must be accompanied by an adult).

Fairmont Community Education and Recreation (CER) will have Basic Dog Manners from 5:45 to 6:45 p.m. on Tuesdays, from June 16 to July 28, in the southern gymnasium at Fairmont High School (FHS). The basics of dog manners will be demonstrated, including heel, recalls, sit, down, stand, leave it and off. Please bring up to a six-foot leather leash to the first session, but do not bring your dog. Dogs must be four months and older.
