Kiwanis to meet

The Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet for breakfast at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 13, at The Ranch restaurant in Fairmont. A meeting at 6:50 a.m. will follow. The meeting’s speaker will be Bowlmor Lanes owner Courtney Scott. All are welcome to attend.

Unified Track and Field Day

The Fairmont Unified Track and Field Day will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, May 15, at the Fairmont High School (FHS) Bob Bonk Track. For additional information, contact FHS at (507) 238-4411.

Eurovision at Analog Games

Analog Games in Fairmont will host a Eurovision Party at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 16. Analog Games will show the annual European song contest. Guests may bring snacks to share. For additional information, visit analoggamesmn.com.

MLHS The Joy of Spring

The Joy of Spring elementary band and high school band and choir concert will be at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, at Martin Luther High School (MLHS) in Northrop. Student musicians of MLHS, Fairmont Christian School, St. James Lutheran School in Northrop and St. Paul Lutheran Schools in Fairmont and Truman will perform a variety of songs under the direction of Phil Schult and Hannah Northwick. The Hive grand opening

The Hive Art Studio and Gallery will have its grand opening from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, and Sunday, May 17, at the Michael and Elizabeth Garry Building in Fairmont. Guests can explore the newly restored building, studio and gallery, meet local artists, makers and creators, learn about upcoming workshops and classes, connect with Fairmont’s creative community and more. Sip Haus will serve mobile dirty sodas and lemonade on Saturday and Sunday. Fairmont Brewing Company will serve brews on Sunday. FLF Spring Fishing Tournament

The Fairmont Lakes Foundation (FLF) annual Spring Fishing Tournament will be on Saturday, May 16, at Gomsrud Park in Fairmont. Check-in begins at 6;30 a.m., fishing begins at 7 a.m. and weigh-ins will be at 1 p.m. Registration is required, costs $35 per person, $70 per boat, and can be completed at fairmontlakesfoundation.com.
