Kiwanis to meet

Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will gather for its weekly breakfast at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 6, at The Ranch restaurant in Fairmont. A meeting at 6:50 a.m. will follow. The speaker of the meeting will be Bob Evelsizer of the 18th-annual Minnesota Fishing Challenge. This multi-species tournament benefits Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge, an organization focused on drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs. All are welcome to attend.

Wednesday Night Supper

Wednesday Night Supper will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6, at Community Covenant Church in Huntley. The menu includes, “Minnesota Comfort” dishes; assorted hot dishes, bread and desserts. Free-will donations will be accepted.

Fmt/BE Baby Café

Fairmont Baby Café will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 6, at the Fairmont Elementary School. Blue Earth Baby Café will be from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, May 8, at the Blue Earth Community Library. Pregnant or nursing mothers, support people and older children are welcome to attend. Mother’s Day Indoor Market

Mother’s Day Indoor Market will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, at the Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center in Trimont. Vendors, crafters, an outdoor mobile greenhouse and lunch will be available.

Odin Craft Mill Spring Show

The Odin Craft Mill 27th annual Spring Gift and Craft Show will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Thursday, May 7, to Sunday, May 10, at 109 1st Street in Odin. Items include contemporary and reimagined decor, repurposed and new furniture, recycled art and various items from more than 170 vendors and crafters. Lunch will be served. FOH Community Impact Event

The Fairmont Opera House (FOH) will host a Community Impact Event fundraiser from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, and Tuesday, May 26, at the Pizza Ranch restaurant in Fairmont. Machinery Hill to perform

Machinery Hill will perform at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 8, at the Red Rock Center for the Arts in Fairmont. Doors and cash bar open at 6:30 p.m. Pre-sale tickets cost $15 and can be purchased at the Red Rock Center, Imagine Martin or at www.redrockcenter.org. Tickets at the door cost $20.
