Kiwanis to meet

Early Risers Kiwanis of Fairmont will gather for their weekly breakfast at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 1, at The Ranch restaurant in Fairmont. A meeting at 6:50 a.m. will follow. The speaker of the meeting will be Visit Fairmont Executive Director Brittany Hartman. Hartman will update the members present about her first year as Executive Director and the many exciting things in the Fairmont area. All are welcome to attend.

Pizza party in Huntley

A pizza party will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, at Community Covenant Church in Huntley. The menu includes pizza, salad and root beer floats. The cost is a free-will donation.

Easter at Cedar Creek Park

Kids Just Want to Have Fun-Project 1590 will have a come-and-go Community Easter Egg Hunt event from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 4, at Cedar Creek Park in Fairmont. Children may hunt for eggs and exchange them for prizes. More activities include crafts, temporary tattoos, yard games and pictures with the Easter Bunny.
