Kiwanis to meet
Early Risers Kiwanis of Fairmont will gather for its weekly breakfast at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25, at The Ranch restaurant in Fairmont. A meeting at 6:50 a.m. will follow. The meeting’s speaker will be Nyla Anderson from the Fairmont Elementary School. Nyla will provide an update on the PBIS Nest Store at Fairmont Elementary School. The Nest is the official name of the school’s new PBIS-driven store. It serves as a tangible incentive system where students participate in an “economy of doing the right thing.” All are welcome to attend.
Hy-Vee Easter Egg Hunt
The Hy-Vee Easter Egg Hunt will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, at the Hy-Vee grocery store in Fairmont. Locate every egg hunt station to collect a grand prize. The Easter Bunny will make a special appearance.
Father-Son Nerf Fundraiser
A Father-Son Nerf Battle Fundraiser for Haiti will be from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, at Trimont Covenant Church. A light supper will be served. The cost is $20 per family.
MLHS Dinner Auction
Ebony and Ivory Oh! What a Knight! Dinner Auction will be at 4:30 p.m. and dinner at 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, at Martin Luther High School in Northrop. Hundreds of new items, baskets, unique creations, gift cards, goods, and services will be available in the silent and live auctions. Guests are encouraged to wear black and white. Ties will be available for rent at check-in. There will be a “Best Dressed” contest. Guests are encouraged to bring cash to play games. Bingo, pizza in Sherburn
Music Bingo and Pizza Night will be at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, at the Fox Lake Event Center in Sherburn.
Aaron Simmons to perform
The Red Rock Center for the Arts in Fairmont will present country singer and songwriter Aaron Simmons on Saturday, March 28. Doors and cash bar open at 6:30 p.m. The performance will begin at 7 p.m. Tickets are available by visiting www.redrockcenter.org, at the Red Rock Center, or at the Imagine Martin Community Information Hub in Fairmont, or for $20 at the door.
